VS2005 Dev Con - Review

Yesterday I went to VS2005 Dev Con here in Minneapolis. Overall I thought it went pretty well. A lot of the content I had seen or played with before but there were definitely more than a few good tips from people that have been living in Visual Studio 2k5, Beta 2. I thought all the presenters I went to did a great job.

As far as toys, I got two new books:

Introducing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for Developers


I also got a DVD set with a copy of the beta & SQL 2k5. Too bad I already ordered it. At least it was free to order :)

Later today I'll be driving down to St. Louis, but when I get back I will hopefully have a chance to start playing with some of the cool new ASP.NET 2.0 features I learned about! That is... if my hosting provider fixes my site :)
