Minneapolis .NET Users Group - InfoPath + .NET

Last night I went to the Minneapolis .NET Users Group where John Lomnicki presented on InfoPath and what it means to a .NET developer. Its been a long time since I've been able to think about InfoPath but late last summer I was involved in an InfoPath/SharePoint application so it was really good to see some of the new features since the release of Office 2k3's SP1. At the time I was using the SP1 preview but the solution I worked on didn't require any managed code.

John went through an intro to InfoPath and then jumped into the object model, adding Web Services, and some talk around digital certificates/signatures. A lot I had heard/seen before but watching it was enough to get me excited about InfoPath again. Its amazing that more isn't being done with the tool...
